Abstract

In the modern world, Wi-Fi is a fast growing technology and plays an important role in our daily life. The researcher correspondingly came up to the idea that since the role of internet in higher education is very important, it is imperative that student’s satisfaction with Wi-Fi services in higher education institutions should essentially and methodically be examined. Thus, the aim of this research paper is to determine the various aspects of internet use such as the purpose, frequency, device used and the satisfaction of STML students towards the Wi-Fi service provided by Universiti Utara Malaysia. In this case, it is important for us to determine the satisfaction of STML students as their high reliability on Wi-Fi. In short, a total number of 100 students from the STML had been selected as research sample and they will answer a set of questionnaire. There are five parts of the questionnaire such as purpose, frequency, device and the satisfaction of STML students towards the Wi-Fi service.
