Abstract

Cashless society is the society that payment is implement without physical money. The trend of traditional banking was passed and now is the turn of electronic banking. The objective of this research paper is to understand the perspective about cashless transaction and also identify the effect of cashless system in student’s spending behavior. Through this study, we can ensure the cashless transaction system are important for university students. The method used to collect the data is through qualitative method which is questionnaire are giving to the 100 respondents to collect data. The information also collected through journal or article. The findings shows that economic condition will give the big impact on consumer when they are using online transaction system. Although students in UUM are having high awareness about cashless payment, but they have low attitude to implement it in their life. So, I would like recommend that they can implement an effective marketing efforts to attract student use e-payment platform example like discount rewards, promotion and cashbacks when they are making purchases in campus.
