Abstract
UNIVERSITI Utara Malaysia (UUM) is seeking to clinch a spot in the top 100 worldwide ranking for its Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate Business School while eyeing a placing within the top 300 universities worldwide by 2020. Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohamed Mustafa Ishak said the targets were within reach, based on the Webometrics data on Jan 24, which saw UUM's global ranking improve to 1,652 from the 2,214 placing last year. Describing the jump as a big achievement for the country's first public business and management university, Mustafa said it would further boost UUM's morale in striving to achieve its vision to become a renowned institution of higher learning worldwide.
