Abstract

The beliefs of aqidah Ahlus Sunnah wa al - Jama'ah according to Asha'irah and Maturiyyah flows were very strong in practice in the Malay World. However, by the 21st century, with changing times, this attitude is increasingly threatened the Muslims community in their beliefs,particularly in Malaysia. Various heretical and deviant sects were a threat to this position and the latest is the Liberal and Shiite beliefs .On July 24, 2013, the Interior Ministry has declared that Malaysia Shi'a organization is an illegal organization according to Section 5 of the Societies Act 1966.Its shows that these organizations are growing up in Malaysia . Harian Metro reported, in July 26, 2013 , currently there are out of 200, 000 and 300 , 000 followers of Shiite organizations in Malaysia, with 65 % are Shi'a Imamiyah. Thus, efforts to strengthen the grip of Ahlus Sunnah wa al- Jamaah is a must for the survival of this aqidah. This paper will determine the history of the development of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah in the Malay archipelago , particularly Malaysia. And so, this paper will detail the characteristics of this belief and ultimately explain the threat and impacts of deviant organization of the Muslim community in the Malay Archipelago.
