Abstract

The work with children usually involves multidisciplinary teams such as the family, the school and the mental health worker.This paper addresses the writer's clinical experiences in a mental health organization in the United States and provides an assessment process of clinical work with children. Two interpersonal works with children of different diagnoses are discussed, focusing on the clinical assessment as well as the intervention strategies that could be applied to local context.
