Abstract

Information sharing is a widely recognized area in information science literature.Literatures have shown that the most highly productive individuals in the communication network shows social ties influence and are more visible than those individual with less productivity.Theorists opined that information sharing is significant to the achievement of learning performance.This study aims at examining the influence of information sharing on academic performance.139 postgraduate students were surveyed in Universiti Utara Malaysia with a self-administered questionnaire.The collected data was analysed with Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows version 16.0.The influence of information sharing on academic performance.
