Abstract
This study describes about the effect of Just In Time in manufacturing industry. The definition for JIT is in a flow process, when assembly the right parts needed reach the assembly line at the time and the amount needed.Successful companies implement JIT will strikes two aim that been considered as a pull system. The aim included the quality of the production can be produces and monitor the production and delivery time of the product to their customer.JIT affect the manufacturing industry in their performance by reducing cost, improve quality and reduce time taken for the production. This study manage to identify efficiency implementation, understand the effect of just in time in manufacturing process and highlights that detailed JIT implementation over a reasonable period can greatly contribute towards achievement in performance of organisation. The literature meta-analysis as an objective method for conducting literature reviews to understand the effect of JIT.A variety of JIT implementation problems has encountered but these have not prevented JIT methods from bringing substantial gain in efficiency and continuous quality improvement. Further research could been carried out with regard to specific types of manufacturing industry.
