Abstract

This paper is to provide the readers a clear picture of the importance of environmental protection.The environmental pollutions nowadays are serious due to the emission of greenhouse gases from vehicles.Cleaner energy is needed to solve this condition.Clean energy is about the energy that is generated from natural environment, can be renewable and causing the minimal impact on the environment.The objective of this work is to examine the relationship between attitude, knowledge, consumption value, government regulation and the student use of clean energy in their future vehicle ownership.In this paper, a probability sampling method is used.There are 400 University Utara Malaysia final year undergraduate students chosen as the sample size of the methodological approach survey.Stratified sampling method is used by dividing into 4 strata which includes semester, gender, race and faculty.The outcomes of this study are expected the public are highly alert to the importance of environmental protection.The importance of their role in protecting the environment is highly aware
