Abstract
The progression of industrial revolution nowadays, organizations are required to review and reconfigure their resources and capabilities to consistent with the dynamic competition in order to sustain competitive advantage.On this regards, an improvement of information management capability, in an organization offers an excellent opportunity in becoming the important sources of organization to sustain competitive advantage. Therefore, this study proposes that an organization can employ information management capability as the enabler in developing absorptive capability for the purposes of adapting and re configuring organizational operational process to sustain competitive advantage.Thus, based on the notion of resource based view and dynamic capabilities view, this study proposes a conceptual framework concerning to the relationships between information management capability, as well as sustain competitive advantage through the mediating effects of absorptive capability.
