Abstract

This study seeks to address how technology capability impact on poultry contract farming business performance? The paper draws on various perspectives to seek relationship between technological capability and poultry business performance (both new product development and overall business performance).A conceptual framework is formulated to investigate these relationships in general and in various contexts, which is believed more important and useful for businesses to manage their technological capability more efficiently.The developing body of literature accompanying with contract farming will be examined its importance and associations between a number of variables in order to improve a better considerate on being involved in contract farming and husbandry in general.Technology capability of contact farming is an important element to the successful implementation of this farming method in poultry production.Thus, it is substantial to draw attention to the factors that affect poultry producers’ participation in contract farming and its implications to programme development schemes.This proposes concept would be useful for future directions to further examine the determinants of technology acceptance of contract farming.
