Abstract

One of the major symbols of the twenty-first century is the emergence of the Islamic system of management which has remarkable increase among Islamic organizations; such as Islamic Banks and others. Yet, those Islamic organizations deal with each other and with others in order to satisfy their interest and meet their objectives. In view of that, this paper purpose is to identify the negotiation principles that practiced by Malaysian Islamic banking practitioners. Seven interviews were conducted to drive data of this study. A set of thematic data analysis was directed by the assistance of the NVIVO 8 software. Finding approved that the informants emphasized that their negotiations practices is based on seven main principles; sincerity, fairness and justice, accurate information, honesty, respect, common goal, and tolerance.
