Abstract

English Made Easy (EgME) mobile application is an app that introduces English vocabulary to primary students. This app contains suitable English vocabulary for primary student’s ranging between the ages of 10 to 12 years old. The idea to develop this app came to mind when the realisation of the importance to move in parallel with technology advancements arise, especially in this 4.0 industrial revolution era. This vocabulary application is easy to use. It can be taken anywhere without the usual heavy weight of a printed text book as well as practicing the concept of sustainability as it does not require the use of paper. It can run on mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. To make this mobile application more interesting we’ve inserted multimedia elements such as graphic, audio, text and video. To develop English Made Easy (EgME) mobile application, we applied ADDIE model methodology that stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. We hope with this application, it will encourage primary students to know and understand the English language and it could improvise their way of understanding through answering English examination papers.
