Abstract

This research is an evaluation of supply chain management practices at EDC UUM Hotel. More specifically to identify the SCM approach to solve the organization problem. There are several people that are involved in this research, such as several respondents at top management level of the EDC UUM Hotel. The data collection is by interview. This research will be conducted during the A191 semester. It will take almost two weeks to collect the data and information from the respondent. There are several previous researches have been conducted by other researcher related to the SCMP. In this research the result of SCMP practice affects the performance of the hotel business. Thus, the supplier and customer relationship, information sharing between supplier and customer and responsiveness is the important pillar in this research. The result of this research is the level of information quality is the most effective factors that support the SCMP at EDC UUM. After reviewing the weakness of their SCMP at EDC UUM, researcher recommended the management team to improve their customer satisfaction by scheduling the maintenance because their room facilities are poor. By improving the problem, the level of SCMP effectiveness can increase and EDC UUM can attract more customer and gain more profit.
