Abstract

Self-services and 'pick and drop' services are the example of laundry services provided by the Uniutama Property Sdn. Bhd. (UPSB). Three methods of payment were used such as cash, token and ATS cashless card. Therefore, this study will investigate the satisfaction of users, compare the weaknesses and strengths of the 3 payment methods and determine the best method of payments that can improve customer satisfaction. About 140 of UUM undergraduate students were chosen as respondents who were randomly selected from 14 hostel in UUM which is 10 respondents per hostel. A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data in this study. The data were analyzed with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results from the descriptive analysis indicated that respondents were more satisfied by using self-service rather than pick and drop. Respondents were chosen cash as their payment method for laundry services in UUM. The outcome of this study will suggest a suitable innovation to improve the management of laundry services and increase the satisfaction of laundry services among users.
