Abstract
Every organization needs a business model, regardless of whether it is a profit or non-profit organization.Business model identifies several actions to be undertaken in order to generate income by organizing the process of producing the ofering (product/service/or both) effectively and efficiently, from the new venture created. In essence, the business model explains how the firms will generate the income or money. The importance of having a business model becomes crucial since current studies initiated that the business model design of a firm is significantly related to firm's performance. Thus, it is very useful for current and future entrepreneurs to have a practical business model for their ventures in order to help them to do well in the competitive business environment. However, there are many means to do that and the decision to choose the best among all the potential alternative business models falls to the entrepreneur. Since the design of the business model is crucial to the firm's performance, it is beneficial to study the antecedent variables that influence the design of the business model itself.
