Abstract
POLITICAL analysts are all for Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's (MACC) proposal to vet potential general election candidates as it enhances their credibility, though some are cautious over the assets declaration process. MACC Consultation and Corruption Prevention Panel chairman Datuk Johan Jaafar had proposed on Dec 20 to make it compulsory for all political parties to submit their list of candidates to the anti graft body for such checks.
