Abstract

The DRAINMOD-CREAMS model was modifield to incorporate the CREAMS nutrient submode.Data from subsarface drained plot and nonsubsarface drained plot and nonsubsurface drained plot and nonsubsurface drained plot near Baton Rouge.Louisiana, USA were used to evaluate the capability of the CREAM nutrient submodel to simulate nitrogen loss from a flat agricultural land.Simulated and measured nitrogen losses from the subsurface drained plot by 11.4% and for nonsubsurface dramed plot by 35.4%.
