This paper presents the applicability of exploratory data analysis and logistic regression with an aim to discover the hidden information within the tracer study data. The impact of independent variables of Bahasa Melayu, English Language and Malaysian University English Test (MUET) on the academic performance is investigated, and the visual impact of exploratory data analysis and logistic regression is also assessed. The empirical results suggest that the academic performance between male and female graduates from Arts and Science fields is significantly different.Variables such as Bahasa Melayu, English Language and MUET shown a significant correlation with academic performance. The results also exhibit that the impact on academic performance of Arts graduates is different from the Science graduates.Guided by the empirical findings, the study suggests the academic performance model for Arts and Science graduates.
