Abstract
Occupational safety information in the construction industry is very important for every employee especially foreign workers, to ensure the safety of themselves while working on a construction site.In Malaysia, this early safety information was channeled through the Safety and Health Induction Course (SHIC) before entering and commencing work on site. Therefore, the use of mediums appropriate for the delivery of effective information to foreign workers is important in order to attract and satisfy employees and understand the information received.Hence, this article discusses the level of foreign workers satisfaction to the use of information delivery medium in SHIC.This study is carried out quantitatively, in which samples were identified through convenient sampling. The findings show that the existing information delivery medium is low in satisfaction among foreign workers during they receive information in SHIC when it is found the level of satisfaction of medium used only at moderate level.
