Abstract

Maintenance can be defined as the regular inspection of all parts of building to keep or maintain in good condition. Maintaining electrical installations and fire safety equipments are one of the most important factors that should be considered about in every type of buildings.Neglect this factor can cause a big disaster to buildings safety. This article consists of current issues, important of maintaining electrical installation and fire safety equipments.Every building management should also consider the importance of this factor like planning, scheduling, and supervision to a effective maintenance practice. Moreover, this paper also will discuss three strategies that can be used in maintenance process like corrective, preventive and condition based.These strategies also can indirectly give effects to the cost or budget of maintenance
