Abstract

A process control system (PCS)is a real time system that is always in critical conditions and running continuously. It greatly requires a fault tolerance environment. Users do not have to know that the system fails.This paper discusses a framework of an error detection system (EDS) and its implementation in a PCS. It is part of an error implementation of a characteristic of a fault tolerance system support system that manages a monitoring process of error detection and its fast recovery.This will ensure that the control system has a minimum down time.This characteristic is particularly important in a manufacturing industry that requires high product output.
