Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the awareness of industrial revolution 4.0 in Smart Manufacturing among MOT students in UUM. The main objective of this study is to investigate the student's awareness of smart manufacturing in industry 4.0. Besides that, this study is also conducted to describe the relationship between the current challenges, opportunities, and benefit towards awareness of industrial revolution 4.0. This study involved 105 respondents (MOT students) from STML, Universiti Utara Malaysia. The survey method was done by an online survey form. This research was conducted in a quantitative method. From this research, we know that the level of awareness on industry 4.0 in smart manufacturing among MOT students from STML is strongly positive and aware of industry 4.0. It can be concluded as the awareness must be created among students for their future.
