Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the benefits and the components of IR 4.0 towards an understanding of IR 4.0 among the School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML) undergraduate students. IR 4.0 introduces what is referred to as a smart factory in which cyber-physical systems monitor real-time physical progress of the factory and are able to make decentralized decisions. In order to attain the most significant result of the study, the information that is gathered for this research is mainly from the linkage through the quantitative method in gathering information and data. Through the questionnaire, the students expressed their feelings, ideas, and comments on the subject matter. The student improves their knowledge, level of understanding and wider their thoughts on IR 4.0. The student identifies the benefits of the study and the component of IR 4.0. The level of understanding of IR 4.0 is made up of advanced technologies. The benefits of Industry 4.0 improve productivity and efficiency, better flexibility and agility means the ability to move quickly and easily, and increased profitability.
