Abstract

This paper examines the important factors related to the impact of ridesharing services on the development of tourism in Indonesia. Ridesharing services are transforming urban mobility by providing timely and convenient transportation to anybody, anywhere, and anytime (Mora et al.,2016). These services have the potential for a tremendous positive impact on economy, personal mobility, pollution, congestion, tourism, and thereby quality of life. 100 customers will be used as the research sample, and the data will be extracted using online questionnaires distributed to ridesharing apps customers within Bali area. The data will then be processed using Factor Analysis process with the support of SPSS software. Potential theoretical and managerial implications will be discussed.
