Abstract

This conceptual paper explains the contribution of human resource function particularly recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, and composition in an organization. This paper is underpinned by Guest Model (1997) which explains the mechanism of the HR functions which are integrated with the HR strategy to achieve organization goals. Entirely this paper highlights the basic understanding of each HR concept discuss in detail with relevant examples. Thus, this paper will provide comprehensive understanding for the novice reader particularly on HRM field. Besides, this paper could inspire other researcher to investigate more about the function empirically
