Abstract
Abandoned housing projects in Malaysia have become a chronic problem in the property development landscape since the 1970s, posing an uncontrollable issue in the housing industry that undermines public trust and leaves thousands of purchasers without remedies. Despite numerous legal, planning and regulatory frameworks, these projects persist highlighting systemic failures and legal inadequacies.
